We believe EVERYONE can SHIELD their community from Human Trafficking by recognizing warning signs in their everyday life & knowing how to respond.

Meet Hope Tyler, another new Shield NC board membe Meet Hope Tyler, another new Shield NC board member. Hope is a North Carolina native and attended Meredith College and NC State University. She has been in the real estate industry for 20 years. She has volunteered locally for Guardian Ad Litem and the Raleigh Junior League and has been married to her high school sweetheart for 26 years. When asked what everyone should know about Shield NC, she states “they are a local grassroots organization working to actually change lives in North Carolina.” Welcome to the team Hope!
We’re happy to introduce another new board member. We’re happy to introduce another new board member. Welcome to the Shield NC Team Kirsten Sherman Cervati. Kirsten is a drug development executive dedicated to developing safe and effective medical treatments as well as strengthening systems that support vulnerable patient populations. She believes that by increasing awareness of human trafficking, supporting survivors, and recognizing warning signs, communities can take meaningful action to stop exploitation before it takes hold. We’re honored to have her taking up her shield alongside us.

Shield North Carolina is happy to introduce one of Shield North Carolina is happy to introduce one of our newest board members, Haley Gray. She is the owner of a small marketing agency where they focus on a holistic approach to marketing and making sure that the entire eco-system works for their clients- not just a single piece, but everything together. When asked what she wants everyone to know about Shield NC, Haley stated "That we are here to educate, and hopefully help prevent human trafficking in the first place."
