NC Demand Reduction Task Force
The most effective way to prevent human trafficking is to address those who are fueling the crime, the buyers. Shield NC co-founded the first statewide task force to do just that. The goal of the NC Demand Reduction Task Force is to create and execute a comprehensive plan to reduce demand for the services of exploited persons in North Carolina.
Service Groups & Faith Alliance
Shield NC and the Apex PD collaborate to bring in speakers to address issues faced by vulnerable populations. Local government representatives, service providers, and faith leaders gather to learn and create innovative solutions because we are stronger together!
