As the world adjusts to having children home on computers we parents must be vigilant. Predators will take advantage of the fact that a nation of children are now at home and most of them online. Predators may make false profiles on social media platforms and attempt to befriend young people through gaming apps or social media. Their intention may be to meet them in person to exploit or traffick them. They may also trick, coerce, or pressure young people to send pictures or video of sexual nature. The FBI has warned about the potential of increased online exploitation.
